Quiet recovery

GTE has almost recovered the drop of its price following news of the Q2 losses and 10:1 roll-back.  Loss of (more) confidence in management was clear.  However, what are the chances of a Q3 loss with crude at these prices?  Should be no chance. Hopefully, most of the development cost were incurred prior to Q3. 

Anyway, volume is picking up along with the stock price. GTE should be announcing production rates in a couple of weeks. And Q3 results in early November. Should be a good October.

Morsel, with the stock buyback late last year and nto the early spring, then the consolidation and now with the oil prices being strong the share price should have been $20.00 plus (a couple months before the split 10:1, GTE stock was $2.00 plus). The stock buyback they ran had no effect on propping up the stock price to increase the value to investors. This is purposely being held down by the ...more
