Knight Therapeutics Inc > Listened to the Stifel-GMP call again ...

Listened to the Stifel-GMP call again ...

Very informative for new investors - Samira threw out a lot of information in a very short time.  Also said, "Jonathan has stepped into the executive chairman role.  He doesn't leave me alone.  We have our regular calls ... does what he always does."

I'm guessing he's always guided the board in his own strategic direction - same old - same old !

Lots shared about the look and the make-up of ROW and why they chose LATAM (for its growth)
- as expected, two-thirds of the Argentinian workforce (roughly 233 people) are involved in the manufacture of drugs - on the branded generic side.  Samira seems very excited about this part of the business.  Seems like the golden nugget of the Grupo purchase.

As part of the multi-pronged approach, they are working on in-licensing, acquiring mature products and developing low-risk/low-expense products (the Argentinian operation re. branded generics).  Also looking at bolt-on acquisitions (company or portfolio).  This will be the bread and butter of their growth story.

I am assuming R&D is also in Argentina?  Don't think they mentioned it specifically but it must be in Argentina.  Anyone know?

This is 100% the path expected for GUD.
Slow and steady is what it takes - patient investors required - others need not apply.
Hahaha !

No one knew how they'd get here and even Samira compared the options of buying a family business vs. buying from private equity.
Private Equity was not the way she wanted to do it as it required a major clean-up.
Buying Grupo was the best of the options.

Good Luck All.

You are still trying here. You didn't learn your lesson from the smashing you got in Antibe? Care to post all your losses from that investment you were pumping in a similar fashion? No matter what you do, how many times you attempt to pump this, it will be all for naught. Meir told you how it's going to play out 3-4 years ago and this is exactly what is playing out. A confused company ...more

PorkSniffer.. I'm just lost as to why you still own GUD shares based on how you feel about the company. Blows my mind. Do you have anything positive to say about GUD? If not why are you still holding on to shares?
Comment by porksniffer on Dec 10, 2021 11:44am
I have answered that question multiple times. This dog's only value to me is a tax loss. I hold on because it represents literally nothing of my net worth since every other stock did what it was supposed to do and go up. It is there to be used as a tax loss should I need one. Nothing more. The market has humbled management so much that the founder failed and took a walk. The only positives I ...more

I'm still here because it's just sitting in my RRSP and it rarely gets looked at. When Goodman said "for your grand kids" I understood what he meant by that because it isn't very hard to understand. You could've already sold for tax loss and moved on.. the company keeps producing positive news so I'm not sure what you're waiting for.
Comment by Chianchin on Dec 11, 2021 7:50am
The grand Kids narrative came along few Years later. GUD was challenged by Meir and the share price declining. Not before PP to the best of my memory.

Candy - I think Porky did a self-proclaimed exit and he was one who purchased at $10 - along with the other two full-time haters.   He’ll tell you he’s glad he left ... that Meir was correct???? and that Goodman is taking this company private???? If nothing else ... it was funny until it got sad.  He can’t even admit that I warned (since 2014) that this is a long game and accumulation ...more

Always happy to see you get smashed in Antibe. You are also getting crushed here. Kindly tell the board how much money you have lost pumping these two T U R D S? "Love it."

Did Samira say they see 16 % organic growth expected for 2022 ?
Comment by MrMugsy on Dec 11, 2021 10:14am
I did hear something about double-digit growth. If you look at the presentation, you will see that LATAM grew at 16.6% from 2020 to 2021. From the webinar, she said ... Why did we go to Latin America ... 5-6% of the global market and it is growing a lot faster than the Canadian Market. As we work throught the pandemic, the market is slowly starting to come back ... markets are opening up ...more

LOL You people live in an other planet and know nothing of LATAM and just mouth off numbers. Try to substantiate your BS claims with economic numbers and facts. LATAM continues to be in a disastrous recession and high inflation and politician of extreme lef being elected every months.  Next to come is Chile next week election an extreme Marxist is projected to be elected just as Peru. Knight Therapeutics Revenue Last 4 quarters - $240,400,000 (just for comparison) 2020 - $199,519,000 2019 - $47,461,000 2018 - $12,500,000 2017 - $8,634,000 2016 - $5,940,000 2015 - $1,037,000 2014 - $365,000 --------------- If Q4 is as good as 2020 Q4 ($55M) we'd hit $240K in sales for 2021. That would be more than 20% increase y-o-y. Just think about that one!

...and they keep loosing a ton of money and market cap for 7 Years. I suppose loosing fortune's Mr mugsy knows better than Bay street institutional investors who are busy dumping shares and the only bidder left is GUD with PP money
Comment by Snowballgrowth on Dec 12, 2021 8:27am
Why do you say this ? National bank, Royal Bank and all other analysts wrote positive reports after the last quarter results.  NB sees $ 295 M revenues and $ 60 M adjusted EBITDA for 2022. What are your forecast ?
Comment by Chianchin on Dec 12, 2021 9:15am
These banks predictions have been consistently wrong for 8 long Years of GUD. They Just want to do another PP or buyout like the disastrous GBT and make fees.  Have any of these analysts traveled to LATAM countries/? I doubt it/ These report are whortless computer generated projection/models

Hahaha - finally saying 7 years ... first real number they could muster up and I''m thinking that in itself is a mistake.              : ) I'm pretty sure the financials show they are not losing money ... as we've discussed ad nauseam - so I won't list the annual incomes again.  I will just say GUD has accumulated close to $300M in ...more

True, she said she's hoping to do at least as good as LATAM market growth, which would mean 16% organic growth. This company is currently priced for no growth at all so if we meet just half of that objective, the market will positevely react. The other reason why this stock is so cheap is because it is boring and hard to understand for the average investor. Everybody wants to invest in AI ...more

Not that hard to understand, six Years ago they had nearly a billion in cash they just did not know what to do with it. Later MNGT adsventured in LATAM and the share price dropped like a stone. Why? Institutional investors know all about LATAM. GUD MNGT ?????????
Comment by MrMugsy on Dec 14, 2021 6:41pm
Yes ... but ... at some point (like Paladin), it loses its boring status as demand eventually outpaces supply. Honestly ... I expected a groundhog day type experience with this one - and - I've been getting it since day 1. Patience ... there is no telling how far away we are from that inflection point.  We just need them to keep doing what they're doing. : )
