That is on your broker I think. I get mine 6:30 AM MST every last day of the month.

x divi day ...you must purchase shares two days prior to the ex-dividend date.  Your shares likely did not claer in time for the divi.

You need to own it close of the trading day before it goes ex-dividend. To receive a dividend you need to own it at close on the the date of record. Once this moment passes the stock is said to trade ex-dividend (without dividend). Before the stock becomes ex-dividen it is said to trade cu.m-dividen (with dividend), technically from the date of declaration until the date of record.

Hello Reach , l am with CIBC Investors Edge , only $695 a trade but in the case of the divs ,l always get mine the day after The Record Date, probably because all my divs are reinvested no charge and it doesn't clear til overnight.

Yup. Management and board held thru with div only to tank the stock exactly when the turnaround they had been waiting for in oil price was taking place. Not smart. Stability destroyed. Every oil stock up today except - good ole' GXE. However, patterns are being established to day trade this one again like clockwork. I'll only do it small though as I generally only daytrade stock I dont
