RE: GXI

RE: GXISince my last 2 posts in Nov/99 there has been something of a response in the share price going up to .70--.80 and some interest shown also in the way of posters. Here are my thoughts on this co. 1. Very volatile trading with low volume which indicates to me that yes the float is low. 2. Co. was in the top 100 with revenues in Canada as per Canadian Business Magazine in one of their issues in 1999. 3. As they were losing $'s with their tech business they decided to sell off and then also sell off their oil & gas properties to raise cash. 4. GXI is now virtually a shell co. with cash and expertise and as they have stated back in a news release back in Dec/99 that they would be announcing a "new direction" in the 1st quarter of 2000 and along with their latest directive which stated they would be holding an extraordinary share holders meeting April 4th I am confident that it will be at that time that we will find out what that is. 5. Should it be something substantial then I would just as confidently expect that the share price could appreciate substantially given the tightly held share structure and that there are only approx 10 million shares outstanding in the 1st place. 6. This stock is run by professionals and given the current climate for tech/biotech/optics then I would not hesitate to say that we may see some- thing in the order of a $5-$10 share price before the end of 2000. 7. Hoping I am right and best of luck to all.
