Hudson's Bay Co, or HBC, is a Canadian retail business group. The company operates department stores throughout Canada, Belgium, Germany, and the United States under various banners. These banners include Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson's Bay, Lord & Taylor, and Off 5th in North America and Galeria Kaufhof, Galeria Inno, and Sportarena in Europe. HBC also has investments in real estate joint ventures. In Canada, it has partnered with RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust in the RioCan-HBC joint venture.

RE:Peoples OpinionGreetings beef...I am a fairly new investor 1 month new...I bought in at 12$ give or take and I'm a believer in the company! They own a huge amount of real estate and this is not reflected in the SP...Alone the real estate is worth about $30 a share...If they tap into this hidden wealth,perhaps selling some of it or spinning off a REIT, which is why I bought the stock, your investment will skyrocket....They are expanding into Europe and this will hurt their earnings,since  it costs a lot to open or renovate stores in Europe and elsewhere....but down the road it will, I believe, turn out to be a great investment....They are expanding their online capabilities...Just opened a very modern distribution centre in Toronto....they have their act together,,,,,Just give it some time...Good luck to you...
