RE: EPS doubles to $0.34 per share

RE: EPS doubles to $0.34 per shareAnd sequentially EPS went from $0.08 in Q3 to $0.11 in Q4, which is a big improvement, especially considering how much stronger the C$ was in Q4 in terms of translating what are really RMB earnings into C$. The Chinese are now loosening the reins on the RMB and my expectation is that the RMB will be stronger than the C$ in 2008. Also note that, unlike companies like AGU and POT that had banner years riding flying prices, HF's earnings growth came from growing production. That production will continue to grow strongly in 2008. For those of us who have been here for awhile, do you recall there was a poster called Rock who had an admittedly simplistic analysis before 2007 claiming that MGO would grow faster than HF in 2007. I made good money from MGO as well, but while HF doubled its EPS in 2007, MGO's actually fell (I realize their year ends aren't quite the same, but MGO's EPS remained flat in its recently ended Q1 2008).
