RE: Majority of the minority I will vote no as well, but my experience with these things is that when an insider wants to buy a company cheap on the TSX, there is nothing, absolutely nothing we can do or say to stop them. The best possible result is to get a better price and you can see what that means to an entity like Agrium whose support was bought for 5 cents a share. I tell you, it's simply not worth the time and effort to in trying to unearth good small cap stocks on the Canadian market. The insiders will kill you every time one way or another. The OSC allows almost anything in terms of manipulation of news, prices, creative accounting etc. What's more, the brokers are all in on the game as well. Have a look at the level II of almost any small stock and see the massive quantity of 100 share trades. Do you really think there is a person behind each 100 share trade? Just try having your "broker" lodge a complaint for you. Not.
