Capital erosion?

I am not an option trader by any stretch but a question for those who are, do you have any comments on capital erosion with At the Money Option trading  as HMAX is doing?  

Great yield here but is it coming at greater risk of capital erosion?

I'm not sure a covered call ETF really has anything to do with trying to beat the market, and this one even less as the covered calls are AT the market, meaning it is what it is - it's just a case of the level of volatility driving the premium.   This is a defensive strategy ideally matching the market in terms of total return but with less volatility.  There's a far ...more

I know it is a different animal but their big divvy payer HYLD is having a tough go of it over the past year. Hope their HMAX does better.
