are there no moderators or overseers?

are there no moderators or overseers?I have been monitoring this site for a month or so and have found some of the input extremely educational and helpful especially that from current and previous participants in the industry.  However, lately (or at least in my short experience) there has been an overabundance of political statement (drivel), childish jokes and name calling that offer nothing to what I assume we are all interested in, the chance to make a reasonable profit from our investments.

I have been investing in mining shares, among others, for  close to 50 years and have made more  than a few dollars from Hemlo area projects. I currently hold a significant 6 figure portfolio of Harte shares and would welcome some intelligent input from other forum members, but come on, lads, is such a thing possible? Not from what is visible recently.

I've been in for over a year and i'm not going anywhere soon.

Mick
