(Kitco News) - It is still cheaper for seniors to acquire a smaller mining company than it is to explore themselves, this according to Steve Todoruk, investment executive at Sprott.

“The majors are still playing catch-up, starting up their exploration programs in-house themselves, but they’re still a long ways behind so they’re quite relying on what the juniors are doing,” Todoruk told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek.
