My sentiments exactly. Trump is the big weight on the oil sector with his tough guy trade talks. A recession brought on by increasing China tariffs will send oil much lower. They're talking again, but Trump "is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get". On the other side is OPEC+ keeping supply in check. Saudi Arabia wants Brent in the $70-$80 range and is capable of doing that. 
As you say, pessimism reigns so now would be the time to buy quality names. Husky fits.
