RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:All the metrics for valuation out the doormick..... i don't watch Kramer (no time), but he's no clown.
He's been around and knows his stuff.
When he says "fossil fuels are dead", he is talking about the future, the pushback from the climate change movement, many financial instit not providing funding to energy Co., alternative energy sources, etc.
Let's face it, there is too much supply for the demand.
Production needs to drop (voluntarily or not) to support pricing.
Many energy companies can't survive with oil price down here.
(maybe that will help the ones that survive).
If all energy companies/countries were producing full throttle and it was just enough to meet that 100M bbs/day number you mention and Oil was trading at $75+, he wouldn't be making that statement.
i don't know a lot of people, but 2 of them recenetly have purchased an electric car.
The first 2 that I personally know of.
I own Oil stocks, HSE included.
I was hoping of a large move up in Oil weeks ago to exit most of these.
i don't think its the place to be for the future.
Look at Husky, 10 years ago LKS would have taken this out in a heartbeat.
Too many headfakes.
investors who are not in Oil have been burned so many times coming back in.
They don't trust it anymore.
It's not so much the names, but the sector itself.
