I am averageing down at this point. Bought 200 at $8.17 and will buy 200 more once it goes below $ 8.00. If it goes below $ 7.00 I will buy 500 more in my RRSP. Now own over 1,500 shares but I am underwater on them. Someday I hope for $ 12.00, which is my breakeven! This stock is a nightmare to own....it gets zero respect to this day because of the dividend fiasco many years ago. Management are ...more

Management is good now. Assets are also good. No operational issues in over a year. Q4 release next week should be good, realized price of oil in Q4 (and all year) was better than expected. Differential is also better in Q1 2020 opposed to Q1 2019.

Clearly you spoke too soon. Just another black eye still believe that management needs to be held accountable https://www.fox21online.com/2020/02/20/husky-energy-evacuated-due-to-infrastructure-concerns/

They acquired superior a few years ago, I don’t believe it’s been operational since the explosion.   Looks to me like they handled the incident with due diligence.  Not sure what else you expect management to do.   Money talks anyways.  I believe they’re going to significantly exceed expectations for Q4.   Thanks for the info though.

That is a good question is the entire refinery operations been shutdown since the explosion. To be honest I don't know if all of it was shut down or if there are partial still operating... Seems odd that there would be that many staffs onsite if it completely shutdown. Regardless, we don't need any more operational issues from the company. I sure am hoping that you are right about earnings ...more

I don't think you should average down on HSE. Forward guidance is going to be more relevant than earnings. Lets face it- in commodities your a price taker. I can't think  of one reason to buy oil right now. Sure there is a bargain price for any company, I just don't think Husky at this level is the bargain people are saying it is. The same goes for most companies in ...more

HSE provided 2020 guidance over two months ago. https://huskyenergy.com/downloads/investorRelations/Presentations/Corporate_Presentation.pdf

not surprised at that but i dont think nutmeg would say that. I think nutmeg would later say hse got too cheap so he bought in.   He done that to meg, he talked up meg worth 13-16$ with no problem of a white knight. Later we found out he sold off his meg position. That's why i call him nutmeg after that.
