Remember Debt Ceiling is back in this Sunday and no one has talked about it. Sure the US got a payment from Fannie or Freddie but they're just gathering "loose change" at this point to finance their government. Maybe they'll be able to do so till the fall, but at some point they're going to have exhausted their options and it will be time to pay the piper or stop the lavish spending.
The more likely alternative is they'll ramp up money printing even more to keep that inflation rolling and Precious Metals/Commodities in general will be the show stopper in that case.
