RE:RE:RE:RE:Wtf

S&P is like the villian in a 3hr movie that can be blown up 5 times, have no limbs left, and still won't die! haha

I saw some confusion regarding HVU price action today. Contango is part of it (currently a whopping 16%), however the larger reason is HVU holdings are 92% May contracts, which actually fell just over 1% today. Keep in mind the investing.com quote for VIX futures shows them up 1.23% but this is APRIL futures, not May. Only 8% of HVU is holding April futures, hence the net negative move.

Not sure why I'm self-electedly answering these questions so if it's annoying feel free to block me. lol But I'll continue with any questions I see pop up into the next rollover on Tues to address any common "why in the world is HVU doing that" questions through the lifecycle of one full rollover.

Our 2 bibles are www.vixcentral.com and https://www.horizonsetfs.com/ETF/HVu for HVU current holdings. To explain almost all unexpected HVU price actions.

To the death of the S&P,

TheCapitalist(wounded)Bear
