First the broker push up the stock (HVU) then the small potato (like us) buy the stock.
when broker make enough money with their daytrade machine (million of share go by from a
penny to 50 cent), The small potato like us cannot sell it because we don't buy alot.
Then the broker cross over your share like borrow and sell your share to open market.
Then they start to dump the share wild shorting and covering as they down as they go and they
all happy except the small potato like us holding the bag
