PNG: World Record for Natural Gas Flow Rate2009: InterOil Corp., Cairns, has surpassed its previous record-high gas flow rate in its onshore Antelope field in Papua New Guinea with an impressive 705 MMcfd flow rate from the Antelope-2 appraisal gas well.

The highest flow rate from a vertical gas well is 705 MMcfd (Million cubic feet per day) for the Antelope 2 natural gas well owned by InterOil Corporation (Canada). It was measured at the Antelope 2 gas well in Papua New Guinea, on 1 December 2009.
