RE:RE:RE:Next to no buying interest at these levelsNever a sure thing, but I would be surprised if the new PNG LNG project does not go ahead in some form. There is also the P’nyang development expanding the existing LNG production facilities.

(I am not familiar with the source, so take it as an opinion piece)

As far as I can see, PNG LNG has the following distinct advantages, among others:

1. Proximity to Japan relative to other large gas projects
2. Japan needs significant LNG in part to offset planned removal of coal power plants
