No it wouldn't, which applies in both directions. If VN Capital buys to move the price up, well selling just moves it back down and they would have buy far more than they sold to move the price in upwards. That was the point being made to the other poster.

They must be miffed however that what appears to be a scam/scheme to take out a large chunk of minority shareholders for a song was discovered and has failed (at least seemingly, we will see if any other fantastic proposals by their well paid and hard working financial advisors appear on the horizon).
