RE: Oil over $80

RE: Oil over $80Several things are imminent.
- It's good we haven't had production updates lately because I think they would be a little lower than many expect.  Remember from the Feb. 4th news release:
"Works to resolve issues which relate to the processing plant on the Beatrice Alpha platform have been progressing. It is anticipated that production from wells tied into Alpha will restart later this month."
So that could be the first bit of good news; that Bravo is up and running at full production and tied in to all the workovers.
- Second, in a couple of weeks, we should have an indication from Stella whether the field is "filled to spill" or not.  If so, it will be good news that they embark on a horizontal section to further tap this resource, bad news if they don't.
-Blue sky news would be some new deal on shared properties, new granting of licences or perhaps an announcement on a Polly development well.

On the downside, one day we will hear that water is creeping into production at Stella.  It won't be a surprise and it's marvelous this hasn't already happened but we're on borrowed time for that announcement.

I'm sure others have a better insight or comments??
