RE:RE:RE:Don't Worry About the Price of Oil

RE:RE:RE:Don't Worry About the Price of OilI view it a little differently than you do. I see it as a miscalculated attempt by the Saudi's to impact American shale output never thinking matters would get this far. Then it escalated into a game of chicken for which no one wins. Not even the consumer really benefits since it costs jobs and contributes to a depressed world economy when governments aren't making money off of oil taxes. I believe the Saudi's underestimated the tenacity of Americans. Americans can be a stubborn and inventive people when faced with adversity. Instead trying to bludgeon companies out of existence the Saudi's might be better advised to use their influence to come to a consensus with oil producing nations on what the global output should be. For me it would be a better idea to receive $100 for one barrel and keep the other two in reserve to sell another day rather than drain your future resources. For investors it's all about trying to figure out when everyone will come to their senses. All wars have to end sometime.
