Be thankful it was just Junction Boxes

Be thankful it was just Junction BoxesHaving worked in the oil and gas industry for over 40 years I'd be very surprised not to see some type of delay on a project of this magnitude, not that I'm condoning them but in this case it was only junction boxes, if it were to be electrical issues then it would have been a major issue.

Chances are they did not install explosion spoof junction boxes and will need to be replaced, size my be a minor issue as with platforms space is limited as boxes are usaully placed on platforms or at grade adjacent to a steel columns.

By the time the order has been placed and items shipped to site and installed I would think that 6 weeks is about right and there will not be thousands as someone had indicated, I'm thinking a dozen or so. Be thankful that it wasn't a piece of equipment  as you could expect a delay of nearly a year.

Disappointing for sure but not the end of the world as some seem to think. Patience is a virtue as they say and with holding this stock for over 6 years I'm willing to wait a little while longer.
