Looks like the Gold market still has legs, IAU still lagging big time along with a host of others.
The rubber band holding these stocks down will snap soon. JMHO.

Thanks for sharing the TD report. The key issue is that no one is looking beyond 6 months. Interest rates are starting to bite now and they will bite harder the longer the FED continues to be hawkish. Next year is an election year and as people start to suffer, politicians will start to get anxious.  Noted that GDP growth is strong, but that is backward looking. Fair points you raised, especially the India/Russia payments. I think Gold will take off soon, possibly $2,200- 2,300 level. The BRI consortium certainly left its mark on Gold as it was during their conference the yellow metal found a base then rallied $160. Good news is I'm seeing selling drying up in Gold stocks, might be the timing of early end of year tax loss selling, linked with most ...more
