Let us not overlook the "Change of Control" agreements normally found in most, if not all, Senior Management Employment Contracts. Will the invitation to bid on a portion of a Project (Canadian pronunciation) lead to the purchase of the entire Corporation thus triggering the COC?  If triggered, Management could walk with lovely parting gifts and still be in a position to excersise control over the stump of the new Spinco consisting of McCoy-Cove, Lone Tree and the Roaster. I love the smell of speculation in the morning.

Yes all very good, management are protected and walk away with a package while the long suffering shareholders, suffering even more as IAU hit a new short term low today, get shafted again. The timing of the placement and the Equinox sale dealt double blows to long time shareholders. Both should have been avoided. The only reason IAU would need a large offering like that would be to commit to a ...more
