All on the same page except the directors and partnersOne would think there are so many reasons why the directors should be seeking a buyer.
Aging senior management with significant holdings of shares through the partnership. Some must remember the almost death experience of 6 to 10 years ago. Diversification and liquidity from the proceeds of the sale of IBI shares would allow those close to retirement to sleep at night.
Potential acquirers have super money, shares trading at twice the multiple of IBI Group.
Synergic savings for an acquirer are very significant.
Could go on but I guess it will take the partners to decide as at the moment they have significant shares to be an impediment to a take over offer. We can only hope that everyone has their price.
