Funny to see all this talk about inflation now you'd think with lumber prices soaring again and Interfor being THE pure play on NA lumber prices, that at some point there would be a stampede Intofor and it would get a big market premium like gold stocks do.

Perfect way to play: inflation + housing shortage / house price inflation.

Now that IFP is North-Amercan-wide they are also able to ride out disruptions to a single local. Lower risk earnings = better quality earnings = higher multiple.

If IFP earnings continue to track futures prices in Q4, my (very rough) estimate is they could earn about C$220MM net, or about C$3.5/shr diluted.

I don't know if it will be $3.50 but it won't be what is presently being showed on Yahoo(88 cents based on 5 analysts) In january, we will see big upward revision from these analysts IFP made $2.23 / share in Q4 of 2020. I would be very surprised if they don't make more in this coming quarter First:Total profit were divided on 65,964,153 shares. This year it will be on 60,757,625.  ...more

my estimates... depends on what lumber price they get really. I think FCF will probably be in the 160-200M range, given that actual lumber prices for the quarter avg. prob closer to high 600s, low 700s.
