Patience

The old adage for investing in forestry stocks is to buy when production capacity is coming off line and to sell when productive capacity is coming back on line.

Canfor, West Fraser and to a lesser extent Interfor will be announcing curtailments soon. Some in the Prince George area will likely be permanent.

The lumber super cycle should be shorter due to the recent industry consolidation.
