Russia lumber production down big time

This is from Corton Capital. How accurated is Corton telling?, i would not know but it would make senses that Russian production will be lower.

The 10-month Russian invasion of Ukraine and the resulting global economic sanctions on Russia continue to take their toll on the Russian forest industry. Russia is the largest global exporter of wood products. According to Rosstat, Russian lumber production in October decreased by 18.3% year-over-year. On December 28, ULK Group, the largest sawmill company in NW Russia, announced its lumber production in 2023 will be 33% of 2021 levels.

Makes sense to me and since their major customer was EU, I expected more exports from NA. However, the most recent lumber report showed an increase in lumber imports to US while domestic market declined. Made no sense to me.
