Stockchase After the Close

The bulls returned Thursday after yesterday’s sell-off. A good quarter from Teslahelped. Its shares popped 10.15%. Tech in general rallied with Seagate up 10.92%, Amazon 1.48% and Apple 1.13%.However Sherwin-Williams sank 9.35%.

The Nasdaq surged 1.45%, the S&P 0.86% and the Dow 0.4%. The 10-year yield was flat at 3.46% while Bitcoin edged up 0.22% past $23,000.

The TSX advanced 0.38%. Sectors were mixed led by energy and financials while staples sank. Whitecap Resources rose 0.72%, Shopify 1.69%, Cenovus 4.82% and Interfor 10.37%. WTI climbed 1.15% to $81.
