RE: RE: Area Plays And Area Geology

RE: RE: Area Plays And Area GeologyLooks to me like Jurassic intrusives and volcanics are a good start, and obviously any showings are good to have. There a ton of info on the area, except to the east and southeast. Folded Bowser Basin sediments are thrust onto the Stuhini rocks, so I wouldn't want to be too deep into the Bowser stuff. Apparently it gets up to several thousand meters thick. I suppose there could be anything under there.....The 2004 GSC map is inexplicably in NAD 27 with feet contours. The BCGS maps on Map Place have only a vauge resemblance to the GSC maps except they mostly agree on the Red Stock so I will have to work overtime figure out what's going on with whom. The Red Stock seems to have no magnetic signature, or a mild mag low compared to the basalts so it can't be tracked under the cover very well either in any direction. To me, it seems that the main Red Chris trend is northeast -southwest striking and is fairly well contained in the Imperial claims area.

Holes coords are on the III Assay summary sheet. You can see that they are moving east..... in not a big hurry. They moved 30 m east from 349 to hole 350. They actually moved more north than east. Barely. I don't think I found any non-III claims closer than about 4.7km to hole 350.
