RE:Tahltan Central Council issue PRSeem like a voice of reason, my concern is that in many cases the first nations think they have veto.
The correct way is to educate, there have been many examples of excellent partnerships in Northern Alberta. It was my understanding red chris was working with bands in that area to provide training hiring etc on the new mine. The big issue I have is the continual reporting of negative news with regards to any developement in BC. When resources are being developed it effects the enviroment, its a question of balance many of these bands have been benefited from $$$$ spent
trying to assist them (they may feel owed) thats another question, I only hope we can resolve this to most everyones satisfaction.
