Billionaire Investor Pierre Lassonde Says Ignore Volatility, Gold Is Headed Into A Mania

I’m quoting from King World News article.  “When the price of gold was hammered to the downside, billionaire investor Pierre Lassonde told King World News that investors need to focus on the big picture and not the volatility because the price of gold is headed into a mania.”
Lassonde is arguably the greatest company builder in the history of the mining sector.  He is past President of Newmont Mining, former Chairman of the World Gold Council and former Chairman of Franco Nevada.  Lassonde is one of the wealthiest, most respected individuals in the gold world, and as always King World News would like to thank him for sharing his wisdom with our global readers during this critical period in these markets.

Moreover, I’ve always maintained that IAMGOLD does have real asset value and that’s one of the reasons why I’m a long-term shareholder. Things are going to get very interesting especially with the estimated start-up of the Cote gold mine in the 1^st quarter 2024 along with results of the ongoing 2023 diamond drill program on two of their key exploration projects:

Gosselin Zone (Extention of the Cote Property)

Approximately 15,500 metres of diamond drilling is planned in 2023 to further delineate and expand the Gosselin mineral resources and test selected targets along an interpreted favourable deposit corridor, of which approximately 5,200 metres were completed in the first quarter 2023.

Nelligan Gold Project

Approximately 10,000 metres of step-out and delineation diamond drilling is planned in 2023, of which approximately 1,700 metres were completed in the first quarter 2023.

Once the exploration drilling is completed, assay results will only add more asset value  to the already substantial inferred gold reserves. Looking at the big picture, the timing could not be any better!!! Shareholders buckle-up, ignore the volatility and enjoy the ride…

Now more than ever, do not sell your shares to the greedy hedge funds, bullion banks and short traders! Make them cover at a much higher share price.
