Collecting data (i.e. flying a plane with lidar) has margins of approx. 50%; services around the mapping (i.e. cleaning the map) has higher margins (maybe 60%); software development has close to 80%; software subscriptions margins are close to 90%; and sale of data is pretty close to 100%. I believe a large SDI contract, which includes all of these services (except the last) would have margins of close to 60%.
Margins are very healthy. However, it's important that Vertex' royalty get converted into equity following the contract close to clean up the capital structure and have the company retain cash for the further development of the Orion platform.
