RE:Here is my opinion/analysis...You were correct about CRS...full marks.
Just for accuracy, this is not on the Venture, rather the TSX.
Your on the fence here regarding closure announcement...which tells me you may not have any more information beyond IMP's latest call of end of q4 for closure.
IMP called for closure end of Q3, then bumped to end of Q4...so I agree we should see news this year (q4) indicating either closure or continuation of delay.
What price would you consider the 'buying opportunity' to be at...?
I personally am struggling with the GAP down to .08c....typically these fill but not guarenteed...
If IMP were to merge or be bought, for example, then this GAP would no longer be relevant...
What are your thoughts on the GAP?

I personally do not believe there will be a closing of the deal this evening in the next few days of this year. But that does not mean totally bad news.
I think there will be an announcement shortly either tonight or in the next few days providing more guidance and and actual estimated date of completion in the next 2-3 weeks or by the end of next month etc.
My thoughts are that if it was going to close it would have closed before the holidays. But the good news in the delays til the end here is that if it fell apart they would have had to issue a press release saying such. So I believe it is still in the works.
Obviously i would totally welcome being wrong on this and seeing the action play out earlier but we might have one last buying opportunity shortly.
It would be nice to finally see something work out , because in nearly every situation on the Venture there are always things which sound great but then totally fall apart for no apparent reason.
I am leaning against this because management has been responsible throughout this process and not selling boatloads of stock as i have seen in other cases across this exchange.
