Regarding what I highlighted in your text:
- would IMP call for options without knowing something (especially in thier financial situation)?
- would Vertex increase exposure by %30 without knowing something?
I tend to believe its just a matter of time...and prefer to believe a short timeline...

I am not sure who gives them advice to pass loan dates without updates to announce nothing at the very last minute etc etc but that is the wrong advice. This is my opinion and one need only look at the stock price since the award high to see the effect of this.
Also, it would be different is this company was not on life support etc.
