RE:RE:RE:RE:Large mapping project starting soonI really like this post. V1 is committed to the success of SDI's, to IMP and to ROI.
Cant bail...dont want to...cant take-over...restricted from doing so...can only WIN. I also appreciate CT's posts...they spark deeper discussions...reflections...research...etc.
Does anyone remember the movie "No Way Out" with Kevin Costner...and how that 'Dot-Matrix' printer took hours to print out the face of the russian spy...well it feels like that trying to decipher or get the full 'picture' of just what this business is worth...and with every new discussion string like this one, that picture becomes clearer and clearer...and I am excited!
Insightprovider wrote: CTB is clearly frustrated with the company and rightfully so. Can V1 forclose on their debt at any time? The answer is no because the debt is not due until August and moreover IMP has somewhat immunity since the debt is worth my time the value of the company's assets. V1 is stuck ensuring this is successful, it's the only way they can get their cash back. Also since there is interest, V1 is perfectly happy if there are delays... Just means more rev for them. Can V1 just make them private at any time? No V1 does not own Internal, they own less than 20% in face which would not give them power to take them public as bad been described. The biggest risk I see is that some company tries to take over the company once $ is received and derisked at a price lower than everyone was willing to wait all this time for. In reference to his last comment about Reddit, yes 2014 200m pipeline guidence was missed however this has been covered almost 100% with the signed contract they have. Yes financing is taking awhile but actually what they've done ready does deserve credit. This credit is evidenced by an intelligent company V1 throwing millions of $ to finance the project. They're not stupid and hedge funds typically produce absolute gans...V1 is not going to lose here... I'd say the financing closed within the next week ( company was 1 month and 1 week late on signing guidence but ultimately came through). Take a look at the united nations report supporting SDIs and you will realize why development banks will finance these sort of projects.
