RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Large mapping project starting soonYes Quality (of investors) does actually matter...just look at the Venture exchange....

Anyway...no I didnt see the segment...so I guess your saying that a 'Buy' recommendation was given...and that would have been based on something...perhaps the same something that the rest of us see...or perhaps more...

I think that BNN segment came out when IMP was near .35 (cant quite recall)...IMP went from .18 to .35 without any BNN intervention...now how can that be?

The mention of IMP on BNN was in a market call minute. This is when a caller ask for Buy/Hold/Sell recomendation on a specific company. There is no analysis details involved. It's a yes/no/maybe answer.

As you said this brings in new investors. The problem is we dont know what kind of strategy these new investors uses... how long-term are they? If you look at the history of this stock you see peaks every now and then (SDI announced, Announcing SDI is not cancelled, BNN shoutout...) but then it goes back into drifting mode as investors loose patience with IMP. This losing of patience is related to debt rollover, communication, and SDI DP.

Maybe the question you should asking is "what make this latest bump any different than the one in August 2015, of the one in March 2016?" Has anything really changed? Time SHOULD dictate that we are closer to closing the financing and I would certainly hope so as I still have my position. But there is nothing really all that different. They have accumulated more debt and they gave 2 seat to Vertrex which for now can be aligned with our (you and I) priorities.

All new/other NR could bring a bump but until money comes in the price will drift.

My point was just to birng up that CT WAS right and the price did drife for 12 months. just because we are in a bump at this time does not mean that we are in a good position... we need that DP to come in and we still dont really have guidance on that front.

Are you suggesting that BNN made this up or had other motives?
They have a source...and I imagine the source gave an indication of the timeline.

BNN cannot shout random...at least not for very long without consquence...right?
So yes I bet some of the run from .30's to .50 may have been from new buyers...
Whats your point?

CT said (same as my view) that unless management shows more transparency the price will drift. This is exactly what happened. they announced that their still working on SDI1 and the price went back up some.  There MIGHT be some support for 0.40 but even that i am not sure if it's sustainable... it looks like support is based on BNN shoutout and investors hoping the DP will be coming in soon.
