The timing of the $2M funding request kind of ties into this as well.
- July 5th the ITAR permit is announced in the press release. For all we know, this permit may have been required just to get to the final stages of financing.
- Final stage means PRI insurance rumor surfaces a few days after July 5th. So assume they were getting quotes for the PRI insurance at this point.
- July 13th the $2.0M in bridge financing received. Assume that was the quote for the PRI. Vertex knows this is the final stage so says this $2M must be paid back upon the $12M deposit. So assume between July 5th to July 13th the PRI process moving. 2-4 weeks.
- Aug 2nd: New board members added. Why would Blott in particular agree to do this, unless good news is assured. Was there a rush to put these guys in place to get them ready for growth? Would Blott join the board only to have the company quickly put into bankruptcy by Vertex?
- Aug 4th: Earnings announcement on a Thursday which is a bit unusual for Intermap. Earnings also to be announced prior to market open, again not normal for Intermap. Hard to read much into this, but why break the pattern?
- Aug 12th: Almost one month to the day of the surprise $2M bridge loan and in line with the expected timing for PRI insurance per Shallum's info.
I'd bet we get the $12M deposit on or before Aug 12th. Of course, I've made a similar bet since like Sept of last year based on my investment. ; ) It's going to be a long week of waiting.
