Also this financing was to "smooth out" the payments from the DRC. Since the company is on its death bed, just tell the DRC they will do the work , get paid as they go with a down payment and cut the 50 million Airmap was getting out.
Heck Vertex is funding millions in dollars in losses anyway , why not get a group and get the work down and finance some of the actual work.
In the end either the DRC is going to pay someone or not, why not have them pay 50 million less, and pay less as they go, it is better alternative than doing nothing and watching things fall apart.
I believe Vertex could pull that off, if the DRC really wants this and really has any money to pay , why not?
