RE:Quintyyouknowwhat, I agree with the addage about survival of the fittest. The corporal culture of Brookfield however hasn't changed much since the Brascan days.
As I said before, the swap and BMO share purchase (not voting, sort of). does not pass the smell test.
The ASC has involved itselt in investigating financial misdemaenours with the RCMP in 2017,       I believe, and if they decide to investigate this hostile takeover affair, it can do a number of things, which could hurt both BF and BMO if it wants to ascertain a harmful collusion.

We just have to wait for their decision,WHICH WILL BE AFTER THE CLOSING OF THE MARKETS.
