First you are going to get a higher dividend than what IPL was paying. Second when the Heartland project comes on stream revenue will increase substantually again which will lead to more increased dividends. If you go with Brookfield, they will lull you into a supposedly safe place and then when the Heatland project really starts to pay off they will make a bid for all of your shares in cash at a low offer, and roll the whole thing into their main commpany. This is how they work. I don't trust them for one minute. The Globe & Mail Report on Business had a very indeep report on them and how they run things 3 years ago. You should see if you can get a copy of it and you will think twice about Brookfield being one of the good guys. I for one am supporting Pembina if on nothing else but principle.

It's fascinating to know that you are basing your decision on "principle". I expect most investors make their decisions based on "principal"  (monetary value).
