is literally the only oil stock that has dropped like a stone today. What is going on?

The only explaination is that the price of oil fell back in the last hour. However, when one looks at an average oil price of well over $80/bl since the begining of the year it appears to be an over reaction to a daily move in the price of oil.

A big holder is likely selling their position. As soon as they are done, it should start going up again. It happens from time to time especially in stocks that are lower trading volume. Probably a good time to buy.

I do not think so.  The volume was about the average of what it has been year to date. Today's share decline was in response to the fall in the price of oil when Iran announced in the afernoob that they felt they were close to a deal with the United States.

Iran deal won't be finalized till, May if they're lucky. It's disgusting that the US makes deals with terrorists. We're sending record amounts of oil, to the US right now. If Trudeau hadn't nixed new pipelines, we'd be sending more!!!! You want $10 a day child care, and pharmacare, pumping more oil is how we're going to pay for it!!!!

The only reason the U.S. is negotiating with Iran is because Europe wanted to restore the deal Trump nixed.  European ties with Eurasia has been strengthening as trade with the rest of Asia has been growing. Europe wants to normalize relations. The U.S. is walking a tight rope in these negotiations.  They want Europe to stay aligned with the United States against Iran but Europe wants ...more
