And I am hearing more and more about the danger of algorythmic trading being such a large % of institutional investing whereby the underlying quality of the deposits don't factor in - and the big money only starts to come in after sentiment has already turned (kind of late to the party if you ask me - but that gives the little guy the chance to make big money by being in EARLY and being patient - IMHO)....
I'm not sure those investors that delve into the quality of something like a resource stock/commodity move the needle on share prices much anymore - BUT - the leverage and torque of such stocks is increased because IF and WHEN they move, they move BIG. More volatility, but means higher potential for big multi-baggers.....
