Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. is a Canada-based mining, development, and exploration company. It is focused on the mining, development and exploration of minerals and precious metals from its property interests located primarily in Africa. Its projects include Kamoa-Kakula Complex, Western Foreland, Kipushi and Platreef. The Kamoa-Kakula Complex project is a stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, approximately 25 kilometers (kms) west of the town of Kolwezi and approximately 270 kms west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The 17 licenses in the Western Foreland cover a combined area of 2,407 square kilometers to the north, south and west of the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex. The Kipushi Project lies adjacent to the town of Kipushi and 30 kms southwest of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. Its Platreef project is situated approximately eight km from Mokopane and 280 km northeast of Johannesburg, South Africa.

RE:RE:RE:Remember!!!In the big picture it would be hard to believe that IVN would not be sold as a whole to the Chinese. They are big shareholders and owners of production from the mines. They know better than anyone what is really happening with the drill bit and with just about everything else with the company. The mines that are presently producing, the ones coming on line next year and many other mines that will be built on the properties that IVN owns will still be happening many years after we leave this earth.
China knows this and there is no better way to continue to feed China with all these needed metals for many years in the future.
How many more Tier one mines need to be disovered before this happens??? 
Anything can happen and probably will but that just seems to be the logical thing to do???
And the big question is .............................. at what dollar value???????
