Potadvisor1 is right about one thing.

Potadvisor1 is right about one thing. I won't feel a need to post each and every development in the days ahead.  The case for extreme caution I believe has been made.  Perhaps the conflict will be resolved and they can go back to the low-scale insurgency that has characterize the DRC for decades.

What is especially concerning is that Rwanda has already invaded the DRC.

Seriously, if I owned stock that was located in a region of conflict uncertainty, I would sell my position.  I know the howls that choice is making but get serious, selling a position is NOT a divorce, it can very well and always should a holding pattern as events unfold.  When one weights the potential loss of opportunity from doing so, against a much greater risk due to adverse subsequent developments, one must consider the likihood of this stock making significant gains.

We all have our opinion of the Global economy and the pricing of metals in light of a world turning to recession, but I cannot see a real strong possibility of Dr. Copper making significant gains until we see how the Chinese economy weathers the storm.

Buy it back when things settle down, and consdier the loss of opportunity as an insurance premium.  You will sleep much better.
