Sadly, conflict in DRC is nothing new. It has been ongoing for decades and this entire project has been built around it - on the far side of the country from the major source of conflict mind you - at least at this time. I think though you also have to bear in mind the ownership of the project. DRC owns 20% of the project, and will effort to protect that income. Bottom line, haven't been

I know Canadians will let the DRC conflicts happen as they will... not sure China would allow insurrections to upset a great source of raw material for their red machine. They might just step in a squash whatever threatens their interests.

Technical pullback , nothing more. Alphamin minerals is mining tin in that part of the region where the conflict is. Zero impact to their SP today.

I agree with you as IVN has gone up a lot in the last two months.  If there were real concerns, other mining stocks in the area as you mentioned would have have gone done today but they did not.  There is too much invested with big instituions compirising 11 % of the float and China owning a third to stop this from going into production next month. A few fear mongers on this bullboard

If you have access to the bid/ask data which I do, there was a wall of over 120,000 shares at $9.50 and 200,000 shares at $9.60 to prevent the price from going up and manipulate the price to go down. If there was fear of the DRC activity, the price would have not opened up higher than yesterday's close which is always a good sign of a bullish stock.This was true market manipulation at its best

Nothin in the world like second level reads!!!  Though I will say - once we are in production and even more of these shares move into institutional hands we WILL see more of this - just at higher prices!
