In 2017 I was in Cagayan de Oro Philippines.  All hell broke loose  in Marawi. A city 30 minutes down the road. ISIS took over the city and it was a war zone.   30 minutes away in CDO all was normal.  The Congo is a large country.   Not to concerned about your fear mongering you wanqer.

Another thing.  Don't under estimate a people's loyalty and willingness to fight for a better life that ivanhoe has given the people of the Congo. They won't put up with any bullshit of corrupt criminals trying to ruin lives.

The majority of citizens in the DRC live in extreme poverty - perhaps people make a decent wage in the areas where IVN operates, but most of the population is not doing well at all.
