My reasoning  was much like yours  a very high yeild  is hard to ignore  especially since it's a utiltiy play This market however is looking for gloom and doom so when any stock dividend pays out  double digits like JE  the doubters come out of the woodwork looking for reasons to challenge the high dividend . I think the spring back performance of this stock last week speaks volumes about  its ability to maintain thier dividend and as you certainly know dividend stocks are the sweet spot in the market right now and many analysts are are saying this will not change for a good long while .BTW  I  bought this stock  couple of months ago after hearing Veronica Hirschs strong opinion on BNN  about its ability to hold the dividend . So far  so good .
