Wish that were the case...the coupon's are lower than 6.5% on the remaining issues and are paid on par not market value so there is no interest savings. There is however some maturity risk taken off the table. First the bank renewal was dealt with and now the near term maturities....all in all its positive. Have been eyeing the remaining two cv's because of the discount but its not much better than the shares and don't have the upside given the higher conversion prices. Just became a little less risky though!
