RE: we''ll break 52 week high today...Barrick acquiring AS is great news. As a long suffering Bema shareholder I waited for years for Placer to make a move on Cerro Casale but as we know they dithered and finally backed out. The mine could have been operating by now if anybody at Placer had any balls but now Barrick enters the equation and it can only be a good thing. Both Kinross and Barrick have synergies in Chile so expect some quick movement to get this giant ore body into production. With Kupol almost ready to begin production and Cerro moving forward we will finally realize all the potential that Bema had but that Bema management frittered away. If gold keeps moving towards $1000 and if we get to $900, a thousand will come much quicker than it took to get to $900, Kinross has only just begun to appreciate in price. Do I hear $30-$40.
